I think we need a movie discussion place! Your favorite's, stuff that just came out, the Oscar's, etc.
My fav movie of all time is Breakfast at Tiffany's. I have a ton more I love, but it'd be crazy to list them all.

Now this is the kind of topic I could go on and on about and never quite bring myself to finally shut up!! But the movie I've watched like a thousand times and never get tired of watching is My Fair Lady, closely followed by V for Vendetta and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

I'm glad cause I made my best friend see it and at the end she had this "WTF?!" look on her face, which was so disappointing!!

I love My Fair Lady. I also liked A Beautyful Mind. My favorite classics are Princess Bride Anne of Green Gables and The Sound of Music
Newer movies: right now all I can think of is Star Dust. It has such a cute storline.

woah, seriously? I've never met anyone who didn't like this movie. She's not into fantasy or anything that's out of the ordinary and goes against logic. LOTR, HP, Narnia, Gemma Doyle, Twilight series, X-men, Spiderman, Matrix, Underworld and so on have, according to her reasoning, no reason to exist because they're simply not possible. I once tried to explain what I see in that type of books and movies, that they are not just about the magic and the impossible but also an exploration of human nature, and she still couldn't get it cause you can do that using perfectly ordinary characters like Dostoyevsky did which brings her back to her conclusion that those type of books or movies are useless. Her favorite films are "A Beautiful Mind" and "About Schmidt". Those are the kind of movies she likes, the only time she acknowledged the beauty of a sci-fi movie was when she saw "V for Vendetta"

I didn't ever like a Beautiful Mind. Maybe because I saw it in health class, but I usually get to creeped out by pyscological stuff. Blood and gore is a lot less scary for me than things going on in your mind.

Yeah, I saw it when I was younger so I didn't quite get it and then we watched it in health class this year, too. I still liked it and this time I completely understood it

I need to watch again 'A Beautiful Mind' cause even if I didn't like it the first time I got the impression it wasn't as bad as I think!! Of course it might just be Russell Crowe, I'm not a big fan, I didn't like 'Cinderella Man' either and I know it was because of him!!
Another film I enjoy is 'The Godfather' trilogy!!

My recent favourites are probably Pirates of the Caribbean and The Golden Compass. Still haven't seen Stardust, although I read the book this past summer. I really love The Notebook too, 'cause I'm just a sucker for a good romance.
