I just happened to notice that most of the people I've gotten to read these books, and even myself included a little bit, liked the 2nd and 3rd a lot more than the 1st one. It's not that any of them disliked AGATB, they just didn't find it very memorable, but when I made them read the next ones, they all became absolutely hooked!!! Now, I'm not in any way bashing our belived AGATB, so please don't be offended, but I was just wondering if anyone else experience or observe anything similar?

I'm kinda opposite.
For me, the least memorable is the third book. While I can easily remember the important events that happens in it, it's harder for me to remember the little detail of that book, while I'm much better at remembering the details of book's 1 and 2. I think that for me, it's simply a length issue.

I've read all three books so many times that I'd have to be mentally retard to not remember.
From all three books tSFT is the one that's got more things going on, action/romance/mystery/tragedies/war e.c.t.
aGaTB is the one who introduced us to Gemma's world, full of mysteries, unanswered questions and tragedies!! I will never forget the girls' visit to mother Elena, Gemma's dream of Kartik, Pippa's funeral, Fee's excitement about her father's upcoming visit and her devastation when he didn't show up .
RA is the one with the slowest plot rate, but still I remember everything about it and the moment Kartik and Gemma escaped from Rakshana headquarters is one of my favorite moments of the whole series!!!
It's imposible for me to choose between the books!!
